Art For A Peaceful And Flourishing World

A Successful Solo Show

She Flourishes exhibition is over and I am celebrating its success!
My show had ‘best sales in 10 years’ for the gallery, my workshop there had a waiting list (first time it ever happened at that gallery) and the response from the community was amazing.

I recently received an email from the gallery assistant who is moving to a new position, here is what she wrote:

There have been many people visiting today, but one man in particular came to me and said that he is blown away with your work. He said he’s never seen anything like it before. He felt like he could feel your heart. I thought this was really wonderful to hear, and made me smile. Your show has influenced a lot of people, and I’m so glad to be leaving on a high note. So thank you!

And here is a testimonial from the gallery manager with whom it was so delightful to work with!

The Aurora Cultural centre strives to showcase a diverse gallery program.  Gaia Orion’s vision expressed through her exhibition She Flourishes; Creating a Vision for a Peaceful World is innovative and thought provoking and the timing was right to showcase it at the centre.

The response to Gaia’s artwork in our community surpassed our expectations because it was so different from other exhibitions we have shown.

The artist has a unique and forward thinking vision that is captured using bold, colourful, and symbolic imagery.  At the centre we include an educational component with every exhibit and Gaia’s workshop, Unleashing the Creative Spirit filled so quickly we had to create a waiting list.

Mindfulness, is an important component of Gaia’s artistic practice and the artist engaged with the public and gave them the opportunity to fully understand her art work at many levels.  Gaia Orion was a pleasure to work with and our audience was ready for her vision!
